The problem
Most truck customization happens once, at the factory or the dealer. Velocity 360 treats lighting as part of the truck, and the app had to make that lighting the owner’s to shape.
What I designed
- A top-down portrait of the user’s own truck, showing in real time what each step is doing: colour, animation, and which of the six sections is lit.
- Unlimited colour through a colour wheel, user-made themes, and per-section control of light and animation.
- Safety built in: ground illumination, hazard light control, and reverse lighting for visibility.
- A built-in tutorial, minimal inputs, and as few screens as possible.
Why it matters
The real difference isn’t the lights. It’s who controls them.
