Content Creation
I started watching videos online at a very young age. I wasn't your typical "iPad kid" but I certainly did plenty of media consumption when I was middle school. That quickly led to a growing interest in making videos myself. I had watched all sorts of other people do it, and at the age of 12, I asked myself, why couldn't I make videos too? Thus began my now almost decade long journey of creating videos on the internet. Below you can find my long journey of finding success within something I'm truly passionate about.
2015 - 2016
Starting Out
I first started uploading videos of myself and family members simple playing the game Minecraft. These were incredibly simple project but taught me the fundamentals of recording and uploading media online. While I did make a lot of videos at this time (over 60!) I never made it big with these videos, only garnering around ~40-50 views with each upload.
2017 - 2019
Gaining Experience
After a year of uploading on my first page, I collaborated with a close friend to create more tailored videos. These were also of rather terrible quality, but I was 14 at the time and had low expectations. Through this page I learned about the process and teamwork behind having a collaborative page.
2020 - 2022
Eternal Student
During 2020 I chose to get back into content, as I was stuck in my bedroom due to lockdowns. With little else to do, I fully dove into the rabbit hole of creating the best videos possible. I conducted interviews with successful pages, researched what made videos successful, and collaborated with like minded creators who wanted to learn and make better content. During this time I got my first page to 1,000 followers which was a major accomplishment for me. While eventually my page died out the myriad of lessons I learned about creating good content stayed with me.
2023
Figuring It Out
At this point in my life I was in college, I was incredibly busy with things outside of content creation and digital spaces. But, I decided I wanted to give it one last go using all the knowledge I had gained from the previous years of making videos. In the span of a month I created a video using all the editing skills I'd picked up, practicing competitive analysis, and tailor making the scripts and thumbnail to be the most engaging thing I could think of. The result? My most successful video ever at the time.

Today I continue to make videos on things I'm passionate about, largely video games. I've partnered with one of my best friends to create content that connects with our community. In the process I get to tell stories, create beautiful visuals, and fully utilize my creative personality.
I've also found success in exploring a niche and using the skills I learned along my journey to create a community that's passionate about the same things I am. As a result, I've also found success in growing my channel and creating a passionate viewer base.
What was once the pipe dream of a 12 year old kid has now become a reality.
